At Munneries we are able to supply an extremely comprehensive range of fresh produce, no matter how diverse your requirements. We buy from the marketplace (Class I only) on a daily basis in order to ensure quick turnover of only the freshest produce available. The Produce Buyers at Munneries collectively have over 40 years of experience and work hard to ensure that only the finest quality products arrive at our chilled warehouse facility.
Wherever possible we source products from local growers/farmers who supply us with vegetables, potatoes and a comprehensive variety of salad produce. We constantly strive to reduce “food distance” whilst maintaining optimum freshness.
Having supply sources in place in Europe means we are able to procure produce from all four corners of the globe, this is extremely useful in respect of our exotic fruit department and also for a wide range of wild mushrooms, fancy lettuce and mixed leaves. At Munneries we are confident we can source any item of fresh produce and embrace innovative new products.
